Hello Parents,

It’s Art Card design season! For those of you that are new to Art Cards, here is some information:

Art Cards are actually more than just cards, they are pieces of art created by your child that can be transformed into framed art, blank note cards, gift tags, and more! They are fabulous holiday gifts! This year will look slightly different than previous years, in that the designs will need to be created at home.  The blank cards that we typically use will still be provided by our supplier, however, they are no longer necessary to create these beautiful cards.

Here’s how it will work:

Step 1: Cut a rectangle from white paper to measure 6.5 by 10 inches, then fold to 6.5 by 5 inches. Draw the picture on one side, sign their name on the other. Write name, grade, and teacher on the inside.

OR Go to PBE from 9/30-10/9 from 9 am – 5 pm and pick up a blank art card. The blank cards are easy to know where to draw the art, where to write their name as well as the information inside the card.

It is recommended that the art be drawn in felt-tip marker, please.

Step 2: Return the art and order form (Handwritten okay! I just need to know your name, your child’s name, phone number, and what you want to order.) to PBE in the designated “Art Cards” box right outside the main office. It will be there on 9/30-10/9 from 9 am – 5 pm on school days.

Step 3: Complete payment via Venmo to Jaimme Jones (JaimmeJ) for the items that you are ordering. If you’d rather submit payment in a different way, please contact me.

That’s it! Our timing makes it possible to get these art projects back to you before we go on Winter Break. We will coordinate a pickup at that time.

Thank you so much for participating in our annual fundraiser. These cards are the best for gifts and keepsakes as our children grow. I have three kids and their art cards are my favorite to use as thank you notes to friends and family.

If you have any questions or need help, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Thank you!

Jaimme Jones, a mom in Ms. Cromar’s class.
